Annie escaped her original fate by hiding in a semi truck as (presumably) hundreds of other piglets were unloaded at a “finishing facility,” much like Molly Brown. Annie was one of the tiniest piglets we have ever rescued, weighing in at only 6 pounds! Most piglets resist cuddles, but Annie loved to be nuzzled and held. Now that she’s a little older, Annie is super sassy and independent, but still occasionally finds time for belly rubs!
