Cookie came to IFS with his “brothers” Ollie and Kaleb. They were surrendered to us after they suffered extreme frostbite months prior. As a result of the frostbite, Cookie lost portions of his ears and back legs. Despite the fact that Cookie could hardly walk upon being surrendered, it did not stop him from crawling to us and curling up in our laps for a good snuggle. He is such a sweet, forgiving boy! He’s currently learning to walk on his prosthetic leg and we are very optimistic about his future.
