Daisy Lou’s journey began with unimaginable pain. Born in confinement, she faced a harsh start to life, having her tail cut off and being stolen from her mother just days after birth.

At only a few pounds, Daisy Lou was thrown into a massive semi that sped down a busy interstate. In a moment of sheer courage, she jumped for her life!

Fortunately, kind-hearted Good Samaritans found her bruised and battered body on the side of the road and rushed her to Iowa Farm Sanctuary.

Now, Daisy Lou’s tough days are behind her. She’s surrounded by loving human friends and has formed an inseparable bond with her best pig friend, Tulip. The easiest way to spot Daisy Lou in a crowd? Just look for her striking blue eye!
