Dannie and his "brother," Donnie, were rescued from a dairy operation. A group of vegan activists set out to investigate the farm and ended up leaving with these two, who were fighting for their lives. Dannie and Donnie were only a few days old when they were saved from becoming veal and were immediately taken to the veterinarian where they were monitored around the clock for almost two weeks. Once they were in "fair" condition, they made the long journey to Iowa Farm Sanctuary. Dannie and Donnie are quite literally inseparable, and their bond is unbreakable.
