Trudy isn’t just a beautiful Jersey/Holstein cross; she’s a symbol of hope and resilience. Just days before her rescue, Trudy faced an uncertain fate with a slaughter appointment already scheduled. Her loving family had cherished her as their first and last cow, and the thought of losing her was simply heartbreaking.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, Trudy’s life took a miraculous turn. Your generous donations made her rescue possible, granting her a second chance to live out her senior days in peace and happiness at Iowa Farm Sanctuary.

While Trudy’s journey to safety was certainly scary, her gentle spirit and well-mannered nature have shone through. She’s adjusting beautifully to her new home, where she will thrive surrounded by love, friendship, and plenty of fresh grass to munch on!
