Zoey was born into a horrific animal hoarding situation in Pennsylvania. She was one of many rescued by Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, before being transferred into our care.
Due to the unimaginable trauma she endured before her arrival to IFS, Zoey was very uncomfortable around humans, and understandably so. However, over time, the caregivers and volunteers began slowly earning her trust, and now Zoey loves a good chin scratch! She is watchful and curious, with her son Brownie always nearby. Watching this mother and son pair gleefully jump and climb on the goat playground brings us so much joy. Zoey has settled into sanctuary life very well and will only know love and safety from now on, like she has always deserved.
