Hope

Hope came to us from one of the largest pig breeding facilities in the nation. She, like Monkey and Marley, was a runt and therefore sentenced to death by blunt force trauma. Aside from being a runt in her litter, Hope was also stepped on, resulting in a broken hoof. On the day that she was sent to die, a rogue employee rescued her. Not only did this employee save her, but she also nursed Hope back to health and healed her wounds before surrendering her to IFS. Besides having a slight limp, Hope progressed amazingly. She always preferred to hang back when all of the pigs were together, understandably. She was the sweetest pig you’d ever met!
