Pumpkin was originally purchased at a sale barn at just a few days old, and upon arrival at her new home, it was noticed that she was very sick. Despite all their efforts, the family could not get Pumpkin to make a full recovery. That is when they reached out to us. We took Pumpkin to Iowa State University Large Animal Hospital where it was determined that she had been suffering from pneumonia. While she is a happy, healthy heifer now, she still coughs occasionally from the scar tissue she developed.
