Meet Evie, the chattiest goat Iowa Farm Sanctuary has ever seen.

Evie came to us alongside her sister, Basil. Evie was healthy from the start, but Basil was too weak to stand, so Evie stayed close to her side from the very first moment. The two were found cuddled together and spent their first ride to safety curled up together.

They spent their early weeks together in a cozy indoor space, where Evie explored while Basil recovered. She was constantly peering over the edges of their space and eventually started escaping to explore further. Her favorite activity was running up and down the stairs, her hoof clops echoing through the whole house.

Evie has never stopped chatting. She still bleats at Basil and anyone who will listen. If she’s ever without a companion, she calls out until someone comes.
