Meet Piper, one of the most independent goat kids we’ve ever welcomed to the farm.

Piper came to us as a baby, likely separated from her mother just moments after birth. A member of our team immediately fell in love and took her in to foster, and soon Piper was running around with her foster family every day.

Piper came to the farm for daycare and preferred exploring the new space on her own, occasionally joining Hazel, Basil, and Evie to run around the pasture. Piper loves rolling around, and as a white goat, the splotches of dirt really stand out. 

Piper will live out the rest of her days at the sanctuary, probably a little off-white, where her foster family can visit her forever.
