As a newborn, Dillon suffered frostbite so severe that he lost both of his rear legs. By the time Dillon came into our care, his wounds had already healed, but he was in serious need of specialized care and prosthetic limbs. Dillon is such a determined little goat that he adapted to his disability by learning to walk on his front legs as if he were doing a handstand. We can’t help but be in awe of Dillon’s spirit. Despite the immense suffering that he has endured, he’s so grateful and content. As Dillon settles into his new life here at the sanctuary, we’ll have him fitted with prosthetic legs and provide daily rehabilitation to ensure that our brave little boy has everything he needs to thrive.
