Hope came to us from an extremely large (huge) breeding facility. She, like Monkey and Marley, was a runt and therfore sentenced to death by blunt force trauma. Aside from being a the runt Hope was also stepped on causing her a broken foot and hoove. On the day that she was sent to die, a heroic employee rescued her. Not only did this employee rescue her, but they loved her and healed her wounds before surrendering her to IFS.

Besides having a slight limp, Hope has progressed amazingly. She still tends to hang back when all of the pigs are together because of her bad hoof. Hope is the sweetest pig you’ll ever meet!
