Ironman and his best friend, Archie, survived a horrific transportation accident in St. Louis in August 2021. 700 piglets were onboard the truck when it violently overturned in the middle of the night. Remarkably, Ironman had no serious injuries. After the crash, Ironman was so terrified that he ran from the scene, which ultimately helped save his life. His rescuers found him cuddled together with Archie a ways from the crash, both boys badly cut and bruised. This precious blue-eyed baby adjusted to sanctuary life right away, and has been enjoying all the perks of his newfound freedom, including his very own swimming pool! We hope Ironman's painful past continues to fade from his memory a little more each day.
