Sophia’s story is one of quiet resilience. Alongside her friends Blanche and Dorothy, she spent nearly five years without having her wool sheared. Covered in layers of filthy, matted wool, Sophia could barely move.

Thanks to the compassion of a friend who ensured the sheep had food and water, Sophia made it safely to IFS. Upon arrival, Sophia and her two friends had over 100 pounds of wool sheared from their bodies, helping them breathe and move a little easier.
