Matty came to us from the Animal Rescue League with his pals Otis and Leon. Shortly after their rescue, Matty's best friend, Leon, died. Matty was pretty depressed for a while but he has made very close friends with some of our other rescued residents like Bruce and Gigi and her kids. We are unsure what kind of human contact Matty had in his short life before coming to IFS, but judging by his timidness we are left to assume it wasn't the best. To this day, Matty will only let us close to him if we have carrots. It has taken some time, but Matty has learned how to be loved.
