Leo is a handsome little gentleman. And even better than that, he’s got a heart of gold. Leo came to us from a small family sheep farm in early Fall 2020 with his elderly friends, Elsa, Millie, and Gennie. While Leo was less than two years old at the time of his surrender, he immediately took on the role of guardian/protector of his senior aunties, and they trust him and his instincts completely. 

After Leo got settled into life at the sanctuary, we learned that Leo is actually a half sibling to Eve, our beloved lamb with special needs who passed away unexpectedly in February 2020. And, to our amazement, we realized that we actually met newborn Leo on the day we rescued Eve! Having Leo as a member of the IFS family is incredibly special for us.
